1 . Who we are

Binary NextGen SARL (“Binary NextGen,” “we,” “our” or “us”) is a Cameroonian-registered technology company headquartered in Douala, Cameroon. We design, operate and maintain the Qakos Smart Locker Network (the “Service”) and its associated customer and partner portals.

2 . Scope

This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect Personal Data when you:

  • interact with our websites or portals;

  • deposit, pick up or track a package through a Qakos locker;

  • integrate Qakos into your own platform; or

  • communicate with us by e-mail, phone, SMS or in person.

We do not intentionally collect government-issued IDs or biometric data unless required by law or specifically requested by you.

5 . How we share data

  • Service providers that host the Service, send notifications, process payments, or provide mapping and analytics functions—only to the extent needed for them to perform those tasks.

  • Partners and couriers who need limited package information (e.g., codes, status, recipient contact) to fulfil deliveries you request.

  • Property owners or managers who host our lockers—aggregate usage statistics and incident reports relating to their sites.

  • Public authorities when required by customs, tax law or a valid court order.

We never sell your Personal Data to third-party advertisers.

All third parties are bound by contracts that require appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection safeguards.

6 . International data storage

Our primary servers are located in Stockholm, Sweden. When redundancy or support services require it, data may be mirrored in other European Economic Area (EEA) locations that afford an equivalent level of protection.

Back-ups containing deleted items are purged within 30 days after the primary record is removed.

8 . How we protect your data

We apply layered security controls including industry-standard transport encryption (TLS), strong password hashing, access control based on least privilege, continuous monitoring and independent security assessments. Only authorised personnel who require access for their job duties may view your Personal Data.

9 . Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the Personal Data we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccuracies.

  • Request erasure of data we no longer need.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Port your data to another provider.

  • Withdraw consent for marketing or optional cookies at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us as described in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.

10 . Cookies & similar technologies

We use:

  • Essential cookies for session management and fraud prevention.

  • Performance cookies to understand how the Service is used and to improve reliability.

You may block non-essential cookies via your browser settings; essential cookies are required for secure operation of the Service.

12 . Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect new features, regulatory requirements or security improvements. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance on our website and, where feasible, via e-mail or in-portal notices. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
